The best thing about incorporating these into your day is you can do it literally anytime… in traffic? When your kids are screaming? When you’re frustrated at work? When you’re waiting in line at the grocery store? Yes, yes, yes and yes. My goal is to give you tools you can use in everyday life.

With a regular practice over time, you’ll be able to move into a more calm and focused disposition. You’ll feel more connected to yourself and have a less cluttered mind. Spending time focusing on one thing like your breath, a word, a mantra, an image or a goal, your brain is allowed to slow down from its typical frantic pace (called “monkey mind”) and recharge.

It’s possible to slow life down.

As a mom and a business owner, I wish all the time that I could just press pause. With meditation and breath work, I can truly pause my day and rejuvenate my spirit. It’s as simple as 5, 10 or 15 minutes set aside to really get still. But you don’t have to do it on your own — I guide people through meditations and breathing exercises and help them figure out how to incorporate these into their lives on a daily basis.

Mindfulness training is beneficial because it helps people:

  • Reduce stress

  • Understand their emotions and stress responses

  • Decrease feeling worried or overwhelmed

  • Deal with past hurts/trauma

  • Repair/improve relationships

  • Manage fears about the future

  • Regulate stress reactions

  • Respond/act in a calm, grounded manner in the present moment

  • Develop coping skills to manage daily lives
